Two Objects of remembrance commissioned by Dutch artist Ida van der Lee for her project “Allerzielen Allicht” (2005). In collaboration with the relatives these objects were made to commemorate their deceased during All Souls (November 2nd). De Nieuwe Ooster, a graveyard in Amsterdam, was open at night and many people came to commemorate their dead relatives and friends with music, light, art, food and drink.
