Eight Costumes commissioned by Dutch artist Ida van der Lee for her project “Stofoverschot” (2000) in Glanerbrug, a project about the demolition of a former village café and dance hall. Many wedding parties were held here and the owners, the family Muller, and their friends wore the costumes in order to participate in the last dance of the last wedding party, and in the demolition that happened at the same time. The costumes are a combination of working clothes and bridal- or evening wear.
